These terms govern your use of the SocietyMitr app operated by Anvya AI Solutions Private Limited. By using the app you agree to them.
Our role
SocietyMitr is a platform that connects customers with independent professionals. We are not a party to the agreement between a customer and a professional, do not employ the professionals, and do not set their prices. The professional is responsible for the work they perform.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. A verified mobile number is required to raise a request or receive work. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person may use both customer and professional modes.
For customers
Raising a request is free. You agree the price, timing and scope directly with the professional and pay them directly. Please tell us honestly whether the work was agreed and done and what you paid — we call to check, and this keeps the platform fair.
For professionals
Joining and receiving leads is free. We verify your identity before you receive leads. You must hold any skills, licences and tools the work needs and perform it safely and lawfully.
For every job completed through a SocietyMitr lead you must upload the bill in the app and pay SocietyMitr a commission of 10% of the total bill amount (20% of the first month's salary for recurring domestic help such as maids, cooks, nannies, drivers and caretakers), plus applicable GST. Commission is due within 3 days of uploading the bill. Unpaid or overdue commission pauses new leads until it is paid.
You must not under-report bills, take a SocietyMitr customer off the platform to avoid commission, or mark agreed work as "not agreed". We may verify with customers and suspend or remove accounts that do.
Acceptable use
No fake requests, harassment, discrimination, fraud, misuse of another person's contact details, or use of contact details for anything other than the requested work.
Ratings
Ratings must be honest and based on real work. We may remove ratings that are abusive or fake.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SocietyMitr's liability is limited to the commission paid to us for the job concerned. We are not liable for the quality, safety or outcome of work performed by professionals, or for disputes between customers and professionals, though we will help where we can.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the location of our registered office have jurisdiction.
